*Date note:  Income Tax Day for the United States is traditionally on April 15 each year. This past year it was on the 17th because the 15th fell on a weekend. MareLin may have confused a few folks, so we just wanted to make that clear.

*Recipe of the Week:  Raspberry-Infused Mimosa – Ingredients:  One shot (jigger) of Orange Juice, One shot of Pineapple Juice, Two shots of Prosecco or Champagne, Three fresh raspberries per glass. Mix liquids together in one glass, add fresh raspberries. Enjoy.

*Natural Pesticides for Rose Bushes: Two parts water, one part dish soap (not detergent), one part lemon juice. Feel free to add a little garlic and cooking oil, too, if you like. Spray on the aphid infested part of the plant. The force of the water from your sprayer is part of the control method, so don’t be afraid to really soak the little buggers.
