It’s Early Witch!

DIY Fruit Fly Traps

Supplies:

Glass Jar (a small jelly jar works well; you can repurpose a margarine tub)

Plastic Cling Wrap (or, preferably a lid with holes punched into them)

Apples Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Dish Soap

Instructions: Put in 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup of ACV and 13 drops of dish soap into jar. Make a lid with plastic wrap and poke about three to five holes that a fruit fly can easily fly into in the plastic wrap (or put lid with holes drilled into it on). Place “trap” where you’re seeing fruit flies. Renew ACV and soap solution every couple of weeks until all fruit flies have gone (usually by Halloween!).
